1/3 c. Bailey’s Irish Cream
1/3 c. Mount Gay Extra Old Rum
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces “Why I Don’t Know I never use Semi” Full Fat Please
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
You will have to follow the directions on the brownie mix pack, when it tells you to put in water you are not going to listen, this is where you add 1/3 cup Bailey’s and your 1/3 cup of Dark Rum.
| Mix in your chocolate pieces and if you have decided to use walnut pieces add these also, after forming into pieces place directly onto your baking tray, you should use parchment paper to stop them sticking, some people will also lightly grease the tray before laying the parchment. Pour in pot brownies mix about 1 inches apart from edges on tray or whatever it says on brownie mix pack. |
Your oven should be preheated to 350 degrees F for approximately 30 minutes you should get around 30 pot brownies. To check if they are done you can poke in a tooth pick it should come out almost dry.
After removing from the oven prepare your chocolate orange for the perfect orange top, you will need to melt down 2 terrys chocolate oranges, the best way to do this is by boiling a pan of water, place chocolate orange pieces into metal dish then place this dish into the boiling water. Do not over heat stirring as the chocolate melts, when completely melted you can spread this on top of to complete your pot brownies.
Place your pot brownies onto a cooling rack then place into a freezer for the very least 2 hours. For best results when handling, use parchment paper for moving to freezer.
